I've Had My Eyes Peeled for the Next Big Jewelry Trend—This Is It

Minimal jewelry has held center stage for a bit too long because the next big jewelry trend really questions it. In my inbox, on fashion people, and on the streets, I'm starting to see something take over, and I'm calling it "elevated bubble jewelry." Think of it as a take on the beaded jewelry that we wore during summer camp but way more sophisticated.

Whether you're styling this trend for a beach getaway that involves lots of color or a week spent going in and out of the office, bubble jewelry will instantly make you look put-together. Let's discuss the runway and Instagram moments that convinced me that this trend is it.

On the fashion crowd:

My favorite way to wear the bubble-jewelry trend is in silver or gold. If you're tired of the chunky necklaces we've seen the past few seasons, this feels like a very fresh take.

The bubble-jewelry trend first caught my attention about a year ago at the Bottega Veneta S/S 23 show. It took some time to pick up speed, but now, it seems to be going full force ahead with many brands adopting it.

For vacation or just days when I want to wear more color, I'm loving this green iteration from Anni Lu, one of the brands that sold me on this trend.

Another brand that convinced me that this trend was here to stay was Jenny Bird. It has such a good collection of bubble jewelry, and I've been wearing this ring on repeat.

For day-to-day wear, I'm stealing layering inspo from Anna Winck.

In my shopping cart:

Bottega Veneta created this ring to go right along with its viral Drop Earrings, and I'm just waiting for it to blow up.

Madewell knew what it was doing with this one.

This shade of blue is a great conversation starter.

If you're like me and can't choose between gold and silver, why not just go for both?

I saw a chic publicist wear this and immediately asked for the link.

I'm here for these quiet-luxury studs.

Heart-shaped buble jewelry works too.

The fact that every bead is different makes it hard for me to stop staring.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

There's just something about this black-and-gold combination.

Clear and blue make for the perfect combination.

If you want a nice pair of drop earrings without the Bottega price tag, I suggest this similar option.

The exact ring I can't stop wearing.

I'd like to wear a blazer and nothing else to show off this necklace.
