Sometimes the Easiest Outfits Are the Chicest—5 Fall Looks to Wear With Jeans

When I’m putting together my version of the perfect outfit, simplicity is key. Now, simple in no way means boring. It’s really about reaching for no-fuss (aka, easy) items that are still modern and current-feeling. And yes, jeans are clearly often one of the main items I reach for.

With that in mind, I thought I’d share one of the key outfit formulas that I’m living in this fall (below), along with four other fall looks that I think are the chicest. You’ll notice that each ensemble in question is easy and not overly complicated, made up primarily of elevated basics. Keep scrolling for more, including shopping recommendations for each of the looks if you want to add something fresh to your rotation.

This is one of my go-to looks right now, featuring simple pieces like a relaxed white button-down shirt and baggy jeans. I also love adding a knit around my shoulders. It's an easy way to make an ensemble feel high-concept.

Here's another example of a sweater around the shoulders. It's so chic with an easy blazer, jeans, and sneakers.

There's just nothing cooler than a distressed leather jacket. It feels so modern over a simple white tee, loose jeans, and flats.

A tweed jacket might seem fussier than other options, but it's actually such an easy way to bring elegance to a look. You just throw on the modern silhouette with a tank and jeans, and you're set. So polished.

This ensemble is absolutely foolproof with the relaxed black sweater and wide-leg jeans. Simple yet striking.
